With Spring in full bloom, the PCA Youth Center organized and participated in a tree planting event hosted by the Western Pennsylvania Conservatory. Together, 20 participants worked diligently to plant a variety of trees along the streets of Point Breeze North.
Through the planting of Dogwood, red pine, and cherry trees, the PCA Youth Center aims to revitalize the parks and neighborhoods of Pittsburgh while also positively contributing to the environment. Participants were able to learn more about the growing of trees and become more in touch with nature.
Overall, the event was a major success, receiving all-around positive feedback from the participants. We hope these budding conservationists can serve as an example for others and inspire more environmental action. Lastly, we would like to thank all the participants and organizers for a great event!
