Make an Impact

Volunteering in the PCA Youth Center entails that you will help out with set up and tear down at events as well as helping in proctoring certain events when necessary. This includes everyone in the Student Council as well as those in the Volunteer Group. 

Student Council

Joining the Student Council opens you to a new network of opportunities. Attend weekly meetings and collaborate with others to plan events. Develop leadership and communication skills while giving back to the community.

You can apply to the Student Council during our annual recruitment in July. We will announce here when the recruitment period starts.

Volunteer Group

The Volunteer Group provides many opportunities and experiences to anyone who applies. Jobs include event proctoring, setup, and tear down.

President’s Volunteer Service Award

PCA Youth Center is a Certifying Organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. We provide certifications for anyone who has volunteered at the PCA Youth Center with at least 25 hours in the certified year. If you volunteered at the PCA Youth Center in 2023 and want to apply for the 2023 award, please send the following to pcayouthcenter@gmail.com by Friday 3/08/2024.

  1. Fill out the volunteer time tracking form.

  2. If you’d like to include volunteer hours served at other organizations, please send proof that documents the number of hours with proper signatures from these organizations and contact information of the supervisors, so we could contact them for verification.
